Five years after completing a restoration and addition - including a rear yard porch, raised wood deck and recovered attic utility space for bathroom, laundry and bedroom suite with closets - to their 1920s Craftsman-style home in the charming Rancho Higuera neighborhood of Culver City, the owner tasked us with creating an accessory dwelling unit (ADU) with loft for their growing family.
