Located near the Pacific Ocean, the simple exterior minimalism of this family home made of smooth white stucco, clear anodized aluminum, glass and Ipe cladding opens to a diverse range of warm natural materials: Travertine, solid wood walls, limestone floors, bespoke white oak and black walnut cabinetry form this new three-story house with basement. With private indoor-outdoor living at all floor levels, the natural light filled interiors are highlighted by a sculptural stair tower that unites all three floors contiguously with a precise structural ribbon of exposed blackened steel, oak treads and glass.
