Hsu McCullough were tasked to transform a client's childhood home into a sanctuary to raise her children. We paired skylights, clerestory windows and roof canopies to create an ever changing canvas of light and shadow. California living was also embraced with an outdoor fire pit den, swimming pool and raised wood deck. Years later, we've returned to carefully add a second floor for our client: A refuge complete with uninterrupted vista of the Santa Monica Mountains. Featured on the Dwell On Design 2017 Home Tours.
